Christine Nowland is originally from Mackenzie BC. After many years in Toronto ON, she now calls  Whistler BC home. Christine is an accomplished Actor/Singer/Dancer with over 10 years of experience in professional Theatre. Some of her favorite credits include: The Stratford Festival, PEI’s Charlottetown Festival, work with Disney, “Fire” at Thunder Bay’s Magnus Theatre, and the numerous productions on the stages of the Elgin and Wintergarden Theatres in Toronto. After many years of studying other characters, Christine is expanding her creative pursuits with the details of her own character. Christine currently draws and paints the landscape of her soul. An on going exploration into the depths of this unscripted abyss. In this medium she is free to experience the truth in her own personal production.

Ms. Nowland is a graduate of the Western Academy of Photography in Victoria BC, and has created two quirky note card sets using sculpture and visual photo stories. A great showcase for Christine‘s wacky sense of humor.

As co-owner of the Soap Tree Studio, Christine is proud to be bringing their own all natural hand made soaps and Christine’s greeting cards to the 2009 Whistler Farmers Market.
